Meeting with Naperville International Sister City commission went well. Sister City Relationship with Nagpur is under consideration by council members of Naperville city.
 
Nagpur Municipal Corporation appreciates NF's initiative of Sister City Relationship of Nagpur with the cities in USA.
 
NF financially supporting Indian Blood Donors (www.indianblooddonors.com).
 
NF is supporting artistically rich (talented) but economically not so kids by supporting AyudaShilp (www.ayudashilp.org).
 
NF has planted 200 trees in Besa area and will plant another 800 within this month in Nagpur. This is along with Green Life India. And have plans to plant many thousands very soon.
 
NF is working with VNIT on 1) Starting Bio-Engineering Course 2) Student and faculty exchange programs with US universities [currently working with Northwest in Chicago area] 3) Industry interaction on its Bioinformatics projects – VNIT and Harrier Info.
 
NF president Mr. Dinesh Jain has delivered lecture at commencement on 2009 students and parents meeting of VNIT.
 
NF alongwith VED is working with Citrus Research Center to plant special orange trees at Prominent places in Nagpur.
 
US artist committed NF to create a large Mural or painting in Nagpur. This could 5-10 floor high in dimensions. Have already discussed with Nagpur Municipal Commissioner to get an appropriate location.
 
NF will become a member of International Sister City Organization and are working with Nagpur Municipal Commissioner’s office and Naperville (IL, USA) Mayor’s office to make first relationship happen.
 
NF has identified 3 projects in Nagpur for preservation heritage structure with Vidarbha Heritage Society and will send the details of the same for sponsors.
 
NF is working closely with VED (Vidarbha Economic Development Council), they are identifying projects to work on soon.
 
NF has planned a meeting of NRIs from Vidarbha in the US in 2010; need volunteers to make this possible.
